Roller Derby

This past Sunday, my friend Lola and I checked out the Texas Rollergirls. I've never been to a roller derby so I didn't know what to expect. Let me tell you, it was so much fun! I would highly recommend it to anyone! Check it out!
{I'm not crazy about my pictures but I still wanted to show them. The lighting in the venue was definitely working against me and hopefully, I can get my hands on an external flash before the next time.}

There were two bouts that evening.
The 1st bout was the
Hell Marys vs. the Honky Tonk Heartbreakers.





The 2nd bout was the
Hustlers vs. the Hotrod Honeys.

Oh my goodnesss! Tiny snowpeople?!

"I'm Flake!" chirped the tiny one. "And this is Flurry. We're tired."


Well come inside and relax, new friends.


I offered Flurry and Flake a seat by the fire...


but they opted for a nap in the freezer instead.

I wonder how long snowpeople usually sleep...hmm...
